ECO CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS COUNCIL


ECO Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ECO CCI) Women Entrepreneurs Council has been established in accordance with the decisions taken at the 12th Executive Committee Meeting and 9th General Assembly of ECO CCI that have been held on July 24, 2008, in Karachi – Pakistan.

Under the auspices of ECO, ECO-CCI aims at creating common policies and delivering suggestions; paying effort to increase the contacts among members; and sharing experience and information among member chambers’ countries.

The core idea of ECO CCI Women Entrepreneurs Council’s foundation is to facilitate the development and enhancement of women entrepreneurship among ECO countries, namely the Republic of Turkey, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Islamic State of Afghanistan, the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Tajikistan, the Republic of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The Council consists of three women entrepreneurs from each and every ECO CCI Member Chambers, which compiles to thirty members in total.
